The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. In 1972 I moved to California and became a licensed street artist for the City of San Francisco; "Artist in Residence" for the City of San Leandro; and a partner in Darcy & Gardiner Advertising. After moving to Hawaii 1977, I worked as an Art Director, Creative Director, and Marketing Director for Honolulu Publishing Company in Honolulu. Afterwards I became involved in providing online content for visitors to Hawaii, working for CompuServe, About.com, and Hawaii Link web sites.
